The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a highly anticipated yearly sale, featuring NEW early fall clothing styles and pre-fall shoes. There are great prices in every department – women, men, children, home and lifestyle. You should use the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as an opportunity to refresh your basics, curate a fall wardrobe and inject some new pieces into your current wardrobe.
KEY DATES & TIERS For Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Sale Preview opens for EVERYONE! – starting July 6th, everyone gets a sneak peek at sale items before the sale starts. Wishlist your favorites so they are easily found when the sale officially opens for you.
Early Access – three tiers of Early Access occur from July 12th – July 27th. If you want Early Access, you will need to be a Nordstrom Credit Card holder, your shopping status is set by your annual purchase amount.
- Icon Cardholders – gain access July 12-27
- Ambassador Cardholders – gain access July 14-27
- Influencer Early Cardholders – gain access July 16 – 27
Public Access – the sale officially opens to everyone July 28th and continues thru August 8th
Items go very fast and once they are sold out, may or may not be restocked throughout the sale. Items are also held amongst the tiers to allow for friendlier access among cardholders and public access.

The Style Chron’s – Top 10 MUST HAVES
These are my top 10 picks for what to shop – items you need for the upcoming fall/winter. Also, consider these items as great pieces to purchase for gifts!!!
JEANS
- Jeans! There are tons of jeans that are under $50, great ones under $100 and heavily discounted designer jeans. I have these Madewell jeans and they were originally $128, and are $79.90.
BAREFOOT DREAMS
2. If you have not jumped on the Barefoot Dreams bandwagon, it is everything! The softest, coziest fabric that keeps you cool while you’re trying to stay warm. I have 3 cardigans now, and only purchase during the Anniversary Sale.
SPANX
3. Spanx on sale! YES, please!! You might already have the infamous Faux Leather Leggings. Maybe you need a replacement pair, (I did last year, after my daughter attacked mine with scissors!). Maybe you want to grab a pair for a gift! If you have the leggings, consider the joggers!!! It’s also a great time to stock up on shape wear at great prices!
BOOTIES
4. Booties – The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great way to update your shoe game for the upcoming fall/winter. There are always great booties, knee high boots, sneakers, loafers and mules to choose from. Adding a new bootie or fresh sneaker is a good way to keep your wardrobe updated and on trend, while remaining timeless.
CARDIGANS & SWEATERS
5. Who doesn’t love cardigans and sweaters when the temperature drops!?! Pick up a cozy cardigan or a sweater in a good pop of color or a great neutral that you can pair with jeans and booties for early fall transitional dressing.
BEAUTY
6. There are a multitude of hair and beauty products that are heavily discounted. It’s a great time to pick up Christmas gifts or to restock your must haves!
ZELLA
7. Zella athletic wear is on major sale and there are leggings, joggers, sports bras and jackets that are perfect for all your athleisure needs!
FUN TOPS
8. There are some pretty tops included in the sale. Grab a flannel button down, some work tops, or a couple of pretty festive blouse ahead of the holiday season.

9. One of my most used travel bags is this Longchamp one, it expands as needed so works perfectly as a carryon or road trip bag. There are also a number of good everyday bags and clutches available.
HATS
10. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also a great time to pick up some hats to wear come September, when we are transitioning out of our summer straw hats and into wool ones. Grab a pretty burgundy, taupe, white or grey one for a pop of color and interest.
